Phoenix Tattoo

This here is not my concept. My friend wanted me to draw him a tattoo design, so I did. He wanted a kinda tribal-looking phoenix in a circle with these five orbs at the head, wings, tail, and feet that had kanji and Greek in them.

I don't know what the heck the kanji say, btw, I just found a list of them and stuck them in there to look good. :V He wanted something like "courage, wisdom, strength" in there, but heck if I'm gonna find them.

I've never done anything like this before, so I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Sketch done on paper, took a picture of it (no scanner), traced with the pen tool. Added some easy stuff for the orbs and circle. Tadaaa.
